Early in the 1930s, Aurora collaborated with Edacoto in France to sell pen and pencil sets under both their names. In 1931, the collaboration produced the Internazionale.
The sets from this joint venture were marketed as "Le Duo Moderne." The pens were imprinted with "La Marque de Qualite Edacoto Modele Depose Made in France" and carried an Aurora nib stamped with "Aurora 5 1 ere Qualite 18 CTS Importe D'Italie"
Some of these pens used the common lever filler of the times. Others pens from the joint venture used Aurora's new end (of barrel) lever, which was previously used on the 42 and later on the Novum.
