Hallo,

Er sieht nicht gut aus. Er ist gewölbt. Ich liebe ihn.

Ich habe ihn vor ca. 2½ Jahren bekommen und brauchte nur einen neuen Gummisack anbringen.
Alles andere funktionierte perfekt.

Er ist ein Bulb Filler ohne Namen. Ein englischer Freund meint, er sei bei Mentmore hergestellt worden.
Wahrscheinlich in den 1930er Jahren.

Er liegt bei uns auf dem Esstisch. Ich mache damit meine Einkaufsliste und kleine Notizen.
Er schreibt immer und macht keinen Ärger.
Er gehört auch zu meinen 10 historischen Lieblingsfüllern.

Hi,
I think the bottom of the pen, if thoroughly cleaned can become transparent. I suggest that you disassemble it and wash it with warm water and soap. If that was not enough you can add a little of sodium hypochlorite (in Italy is widely used by housewives to remove stains from fabrics) and leave the pen immersed for several minutes. Then wash it off with water only.

thank you for your information. I think, sodium hypochlorite, is a good idea.

Yes, the barrel is transparent. I have him filled with ink (Montblanc Royal Blue) and photographed. That's why the barrel looks dark.

Ciao,

das habe ich im letzten Jahr vergessen, hier zu schreiben.

Den „Bulb-Filler“ habe ich auseinander bauen können und alles mit Wasser gereinigt und außen poliert.
Ich habe ihn anschließend wieder mit Tinte befüllt und schreibe immer regelmäßig mit ihm. Es ist schön.
